We use “Nano-Photocatalytic Technology” from Japan, the recognized technology by PIAJ (Photocatalysis Industry Association of Japan). The PIAJ Association is the most authoritative standard for purification materials in Japan. The PIAJ testing standard is in accordance with the JIS standard (Japanese Industrial Standard), which is the highest and recognized standard in Japan. The issuance of a PIAJ certificate must meet the performance standards, which are measured and examined through standardized and stringent testing procedures. The Nano Photocatalytic Technology we adopt can initiate a 24/7 round-the-clock disinfection cycle, decomposing airborne viruses, odor, bacteria, and other pollutants with visible light. The pollutants will be absorbed when there is no light, once the light is on, the pollutants shall then to decomposed. Once activated, it will operate around the clock.

How Does
Photocatalysis Work

  1. Photocatalysis uses light as a catalyst to initiate a chemical reaction after absorbing light energy. The process releases electron (-) from surfaces.
  2. The process allows the Oxygen (O2) and moisture (H2O) in the air to generate O2- (Superoxide anion) and generates •OH (hydroxyl radical), respectively.
  3. The O2- (Superoxide anion) and •OH (hydroxyl radical) generated will then create a redox effect in which the tiny organic substances (e.g., bacteria, odour smell, virus, dust) are then converted into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).
  4. The conversion decomposes organic compounds and releases them into the air

Our products have been tested by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park under the field-emission electronic microscope and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy.
